The Zoom meeting was held with 9 of the 18 member investors participating. Each pitch is followed by a brief "closed-door" investor discussion after the presentation. Post-meeting, the member investors complete a pitch evaluation sheet. If the evaluations are favorable, Point Positive subsequently conducts an in-depth due diligence review. If favorable, a deal is structured, and all of the Point Positive members/investors will have the chance to participate individually in the deal.
"We are seeing a growing number of entrepreneurs looking to grow their business here in the Greater Adirondack region," states Melinda Little, Point Positive Coordinator. "This momentum and our ability to effectively host virtual events have enabled more entrepreneurs to get in front of member investors who are also looking to utilize their experience, expertise, and financial resources to get behind these businesses to build the economy."
